Lloyd Fonds AG announces changes to its Management Board

  • Early renewal of Klaus M. Pinter’s service contract
  • Jochen Sturtzkopf additionally appointed to the Management Board

Hamburg, July 2, 2018. At its meeting of June 29, 2018, the Supervisory Board of Lloyd Fonds AG (Deutsche Börse Scale, ISIN DE000A12UP29) renewed Management Board member Klaus M. Pinter’s service contract, which was originally due to expire on June 30, 2019, by a further two years until June 30, 2021. At the same time, Jochen Sturtzkopf was appointed as a further member of Lloyd Fonds AG’s Management Board effective July 1, 2018 for a period expiring on December 31, 2020.

Continuity and renewal of the Management Board

The allocation of duties within the Lloyd Fonds Group has been modified effective July 1, 2018: Klaus M. Pinter is responsible for finance, the Shipping and Other Assets segment, trusteeship business and Group communications. Jochen Sturtzkopf is in charge of sales and the real estate activities of the Lloyd Fonds Group.

Klaus M. Pinter

Klaus M. Pinter (born in 1975) has a degree in economics from the University of Stuttgart Hohenheim and is a certified financial investment specialist (IHK). Between 1999 and 2006, he was a management consultant at ZEB, where he specialized in strategy and mergers. After this, he held various management positions at Commerzbank AG for almost ten years. Most recently, he established a shipping asset platform in conjunction with Hanseatic Ship Asset Management. As well as this, he was materially involved in the acquisition and integration of Dresdner Bank and acted as project manager for various board projects. In summer 2016, Klaus M. Pinter was named general manager of the shipping department at Lloyd Fonds, before being appointed to the Management Board in August 2017. He has been the sole member of Lloyd Fonds AG’s Management Board since January 1, 2018. Klaus M. Pinter is married and the father of two children.

Jochen Sturtzkopf

Jochen Sturtzkopf (born in 1967) completed a traineeship as an industrial management assistant at Siemens AG, before going on to complete studies in economic history at the University of Hamburg in 1996. He commenced his professional career at MLP Finanzdienstleistungen AG. In 2002, he established a financial consulting company known as LOYAS Private Finance AG, where he acted as Chief Sales Officer. After the company was sold, Sturtzkopf was head of the division individual clients at Hamburger Sparkasse from 2009. He has been managing director of management consulting company TRIMPOINT VALUE PARTNER GmbH since 2014. Jochen Sturtzkopf is married and the father of three children.
